Service FAQs
What is the Initial Evaluation Questionnaire – Fiscal Sponsorship 501?
It is the first step to assess whether your project can receive our fiscal sponsorship support. The questionnaire gathers basic information about your organization, the call for applications you are applying to, your sponsorship needs, your experience managing funds, and your expectations about the service. Completing it does not imply any commitment, but it is necessary to start the process.
What is the Annex for Fund Channeling, Project Formulation, and/or Creation of Donation Buttons?
It is a document that formalizes the service that Impact Hub Americas Corp will provide to your project, detailing:
-
The type of sponsorship or support requested (fund channeling, project formulation, or creation of donation buttons).
-
The applicable commission percentage according to the chosen service.
-
The budget of the call for applications and additional costs such as transfers or payment gateway fees.
This Annex must be signed before issuing the sponsorship letter and is an essential part of the fiscal sponsorship process.
What is the Fiscal Sponsor Letter of Commitment?
It is an official letter issued by Impact Hub Americas Corp confirming our commitment to act as the fiscal sponsor of your project.
This document is required to support your application to funds, grants, or calls that require a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the U.S.
It includes a description of the project, our role in administrative and financial oversight, and ensures compliance with the legal requirements requested by donors.
What is the Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement between Impact Hub Americas and my project?
It is the formal contract that governs the entire fiscal sponsorship relationship. It sets out the terms for channeling funds, the roles and responsibilities of each party, financial and legal oversight, donation management, reporting compliance, intellectual property protection, and rules for conflict resolution. This agreement ensures that both your project and Impact Hub Americas comply with U.S. law and the law of the country where you operate.
