

Communication Strategy to Promote Reuse in Medellín
The Circular Economy Hackathon is a co-creation space that brings together students, professionals, designers and representatives from the public and private sector to develop creative communication strategies that promote the use of reusable packaging in Medellín.
Organized in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office of Medellín, the Ministry of the Environment, ICLEI and GIZ, this event seeks to generate real solutions from citizens to strengthen cultural change towards circularity.
GOALS

Design innovative communication strategies that promote packaging reuse.
Raise awareness of the circular economy as a model city.
Involve key actors in Medellín in the creation of sustainable campaigns.
Generate inputs for future official communication strategies.

The event is structured in three methodological routes:
Target Audience Analysis: empathy and segmentation tools.
Communication Strategy Design: messages, tone, channels, allies.
Campaign prototype: slogans, visuals and activation roadmap.
