Diaspora2030 is a platform for Colombian companies in Germany with a migration background that are interested or involved in the field of development.
Harness the potential and promote the development of Colombian companies in Germany!
Thanks to the Migration & Diaspora program in partnership with GIZ, we leverage the positive effects of regular migration and the commitment of the diaspora to promote social and economic development in partner countries.
+22 hours of business training and a networking space with Colombian and Ecuadorian companies.
The program focuses on five main topics:
1. Development-oriented return: we support migrants returning to their countries of origin with training.
2. Labor migration and regular mobility: we provide information on regular and safe migration.
3. Social engagement of the diaspora: we encourage migrants to contribute as technical experts.
4. Financial and economic contribution of the diaspora: we support migrants in setting up businesses in their country of origin.
5. Migration governance: we advise governments and international institutions on strategic and policy development in the field of migration.
These actions are carried out within the framework of the United Nations Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration
The program's approach follows the German federal government's migration policy principles as follows:
