The solutions presented may be aimed at both the public and private sectors, with business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) approaches, and must have a scalable and replicable model that adds value to the circular economy and climate change mitigation.

Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reduction: Quantifiable reduction in CO2 or equivalent emissions resulting from the startup's operations or the adoption of its products/services.
Energy Efficiency Improvements: Savings achieved in energy consumption, favoring renewable sources over non-renewable ones.
Resource Efficiency and Waste Reduction: Impact on reducing the use of natural resources and minimizing waste production.
Adaptation and Resilience: Improvements in the resilience of communities, ecosystems, or infrastructure against the impacts of climate change.
Socioeconomic Benefits: Job creation, health improvements, or other social benefits resulting from the startup's activities.

These criteria and indicators ensure that the program supports startups with the potential for significant climate impact and that their progress and success can be effectively monitored and evaluated.
